So I’m not really sure why, but I started watching Strawberry Panic. Okay so I kind of feel guilty…like when I watch trashy reality shows…but oh well I think that just means it’s so bad it’s good o.O. I feel like I should be eating a whole carton of ice cream too…hmm that isn’t such a bad idea!

So the anime starts with sweet, innocent, red-headed Nagisa arriving at her fancy new all-girls’ boarding school. It has belltowers, giggling anime girls (lesbians!), and forests, how nice. Then she meets a beautiful (um or scary…I’m leaning towards scary), silver-haired girl in the woods. Who gives her the keychain she dropped and then starts molesting her but then Nagisa faints. She wakes up and meets her new roommate, who seems nice, although she may have to look out for the roommate hitting on her in the future too…the roommate eventually brings her to the dorm and the dining hall, where ZOMG~! they run into the silver-haired girl from the forest- who turns out to be the Etoile, the top student of the school! Then Etoile almost kisses Nagisa again-but is stopped by a grumpy-looking girl-definitely jealous of Nagisa.

Nagisa wonders why everyone in her school wants to make out with her:

So just why is Nagisa getting so much attention? Is it because she’s the new girl? Or they just like the bashful sweetheart type? Well in any case, I can’t believe there’s a whole 25 more episodes of this…but I also am kind of hooked…. How will Nagisa fend off all of her admirers? Especially when they include the top student in the school, and her roommate??
